The question

How can terrain and surface-condition information be combined for flood-vulnerability modeling?

The approach
  1. Combined LiDAR terrain information and multispectral surface signatures.
  2. Evaluated fusion and benchmark analytics with spatial holdouts and rare-event validation.
  3. Reported discrimination and calibration measures alongside rank-based prioritization results.
The outcome

The study reports fusion AUC-ROC of 0.94, AUC-PR of 0.63, and a Brier score of 0.084 on its evaluation framework.
